Winner of our $250 Survey Prize Draw

Fantasy football fan

Our $250 prize draw winner

Back in November, we ran a survey on FanDuel and promised to enter you into a prize draw if you completed the survey. We’d like to thank you all for completing the survey – the winner has now been drawn at random and is “chuckpete” (http://www.fanduel.com/users/chuckpete)

Originally from Oklahoma, Chuck now lives with his wife Michele and his Rhodesian Ridgeback dog, Legion. His passion is football and his favorite teams are the Oklahoma Sooners, New England Patriots and Oklahoma City Thunder.

Chuck readily admits that he’s not been too lucky on FanDuel so far, but he’s hoping this win will see a change in his FanDuel fortunes!

Mylife Wins $3K Wednesday NBA Slam

Fanduel player ‘mylife’ dominated our weekly $3K Wednesday NBA Slam on December 29th, finishing a massive 21 points ahead of ‘braskey’ and spitfire3187.  (355 points to 334 for the co-runners up).  The win was worth $800 to Mylife…by far his biggest win on the site to date.

Mylife (whose real name is Frankie) is a 30 year old from Austin, Texas.  He found out about Fanduel from a friend he met on a horse racing forum, and has been a regular in the month since he started playing.  His strategy in the Slam was pretty basic – pick the best players and hope for the best.

While co-runner up Braskey is a more familiar name to those who have been following Fanduel’s large field football tournaments, this was only his second day playing in basketball contests!  He wasn’t even following the games until several other players texted him to let him know that he had three of the top five teams in the Slam.
